Olive Vista Behavioral Health Center’s Adult Inpatient Mental Health treatment program offers a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for adults (age 18 and older) with acute mental health issues. Our inpatient treatment team provides 24-hour monitoring, psychiatric care, and stabilization for patients who suffer from common conditions such as:

  • Mood Disorders
  • Substance-Related Disorders
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Somatoform Disorders
  • Factitious Disorders
  • Sexual & Gender Identity Disorders
  • Impulse Control Disorders
  • Adjustment Disorders
  • Personality Disorders

Olive Vista’s residents have typically received prior psychiatric services in acute psychiatric, sub-acute psychiatric settings, and/or prison/jail settings and are admitted to Olive Vista secondary to their lack of stabilization in a community placement and/or court order. Olive Vista’s residents have behavioral, psychosocial, self-help, and interpersonal deficits that require more intensive inpatient services than those available in regular skilled nursing facilities or the community. Typical symptoms, problems, and characteristics of Olive Vista’s residents include but are not limited to:
